Beach Rugby – More Than Just a Sporty Twist on Classic Rugby

Beach rugby is more than just a variation of the traditional game – it's a raw expression of energy, a festival of physicality and team spirit, fueled by passion, heart, and a pure love for the sport. It’s played with five players per team on a soft sand pitch measuring roughly 30 x 25 meters. The sand makes every move more demanding – but also more intense.

Scrums, lineouts, and complex rule sections of traditional rugby are completely left out – beach rugby is straightforward, easy to understand, and highly accessible, without losing the depth and excitement of the sport.
